Bringing all nations to the Lord with KPM.
In the name of the Lord, I bless and sincerely welcome all of you who have come to visit KPM.
My name is Hong Young-hwa, and after serving as a missionary in Indonesia for 31 years, I have now been called to serve as the General Director of KPM for the next 3 years.
As General Director, I will do my best to fulfill KPM’s purpose, the “Establishment of a Reformed World Church,” in order that the 495 KPM missionaries across 54 countries will be able to serve to the best of their abilities and heart’s content in the field.
It is entirely by God’s grace that KPM’s mission has continued for the past 67 years. Please remember the sacrifices made by our missionaries to protect the field even in difficult situations such as the Covid-19 pandemic. And please be a partner in missions with our missionaries through devotion to prayer and love.
Looking forward to the next 10 years under the theme of “Together with KPM, to all tribes,” KPM has created Vision 2030. The next ten years will be focused on field-oriented missions, cooperation with 2020 churches and 35 synodes (presbytaries), and development of spiritual, material, and human resources through cooperation with the agencies of the General Assembly. I promise to make sure that our mission inherits and continues the Kosin missions spirit.
Dear Kosin Church members!
The Korean church and mission fields across the world are facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the Lord’s Great Commision, that is world missions, cannot be stopped under any circumstances. Even in the midst of tribulation and adversity, with faith, we will devote ourselves to missionary work by inheriting the faith of our seniors who served the church and nation.
I will do my best to ensure that taking part in missionary work with KPM is fruitful and worthwhile for the church.
